I have a student council meeting tonight so I figured I'd hang out at school and study...and blog!

So my American Idol predictions were way off. I got Kat as runner up correct though. Chris getting booted in the #4 spot really threw things off, and I didn't expect Kellie Pickler to bomb two weeks in a row. I loved Elliot, Kat, and Taylor so I was happy with the way it ended. I liked Elliot more and more throughout the competition and I think he's the best vocalist.

I miss Josh. I think it's because of the disagreement I had with my mother over the weekend in regards to my relationship with him. It made me realize how lucky I am to have a great guy in my life.

Another fun fact about my recent trip to Florida is that my mom is still with my dad and they were fighting like cats and dogs. I don't understand why she puts up with it! His drinking, his verbal abuse...He has money, but for Christ's sake, is it worth it? It wouldn't be if it were me.

So the swim club opens Saturday morning. I love the opening of the swim club. It means summer is about to start and all the fun that comes along with it is here! I love summer at the swim club. I love getting into mischief with Molly and Henry. And there's nothing like looking across the pool and catching Josh's eye and seeing him smile back at me. Plus I love having the kids running around and having a good time around me.

I'm also working on getting the dance competition for this summer. I tried to convince Josh to do it but he's taking a summer class that might cause interference. He promised me that he'd do it next year. I'm hoping that I'll be able to dance with him. This year, I'll be working behind the scenes so we decided I shouldn't compete.
